A man was shot in the chest, many thought that he had died. But the bullet hit a Bible in his chest pocket instead. As the young man opened his Bible, he realized the bullet pierced stopped on his Bible verse "A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. " Psalms 91:7 (NIV)
I guess this was Leonard Knight, a first world war soldier…The story goes like this. “the bullet halted around 50 pages from the end and Leonard escaped without a scratch. The teenager had been given the book by his aunt Minnie Yates, who wrote a note inside saying: ‘To Leonard, with love from Aunt Minnie. July 1915’…”
This is a true to life story that could attest God’s goodness by the way he protects this young man…we may encounter lots of miracles in our daily life too not just in this bullet and bible form that we can testify and attest God’s love for us too…in many ways!
What a wonderful story of how God protects His people @FaithinGod, and thank you also Ms. @MakkaPakka for the added information. This is a great example of how miraculous our God is but if we go deeper with the added information given, we can see that God has a purpose for everything. It might be that God has a specific purpose for this young man and God wants him to read and study His word. That’s the reason why God used His words literally to save this young man’s life, so that He will value it more and learn to depend on God’s word.
