"Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!

Reflection from Jill Yap Damiao

God never becomes preoccupied or neglectful toward you. Don’t let the difficult circumstances you are facing convince you that God has forgotten you. Don’t ever assume that God is more concerned with others.
His words teaches that He looks upon you with the same love, interest and concern as a nursing mother would look upon her infant. It should reassure you to know that God loves you like that.

Isaiah49:15 "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!

Hello, dear @FaithinGod
Great reflection… That’s the difference between us and God… we sometimes forget, neglect or even harm our childrens, but God doesn’t do that. He always caring and taking care of us, he’s that good of a father. We must never forget it, God never forgets! He’s always acting, even if we don’t understand his ways.
Kind regards, Luis Guerrero.

Yes indeed! If you think today and feeling that God has forgotten you, you’re wrong! The fact is, you have his undivided attention. And while your circumstances and your feelings may lead you to believe that you are being neglected, the truth is, God is at work on your behalf. So just be faithful, for God often gives us in one brief moment that which for a long time he has withheld.

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
Sometimes we’re not where we need to be in our relationship with the Lord, and we assume that because of our mistakes and faults that He can’t work with that. We mistaken His silence for absence, when in all reality He just wants us to hear His voice more clearly. It’s not by works that we are saved. God doesn’t love us more for being better. He just loves us. He loves us enough to die for. Nothing can change that.
