Do you receive the Holy Spirit after you are saved? Or should you ask God for it ?
Repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and then receive the gift of the Holy spirit. Acts 2:38
He is the SEAL GVIEN IMMEDIATELY UPON YOUR SALVATION/CONVERSIONEphesians 1:13-14 NKJVIn Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, [14] who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
After you are saved then you need to pray for the Holy Spirit. The Apostles were saved but did not receive the Holy Spirit until the day of Pentecost when they were praying ( Acts 1:14 and 2:1-4 ).
You can’t ask for the Holy Spirit. By accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, the Father put his Spirit inside of you.
