Hi! Actually, yes. When I went to a Christian gathering last summer in my place, I have seen myself that some of the people there were speaking in tongues. We were singing when suddenly a group of girls (sisters) started speaking in tongues. They were crying and were hugging each other. It still does happen until now.
Yes, speaking in tongues will always applicable until Jesus comes back, in the scripture below it tells you that we speak unto God not unto men.
