Do you usually serve in the church? What is the most difficult thing during serving? And what is the most joyful thing?

Share your experience of serving in the church.

I would feel difficult while i do not see outcomes of my work. The most joyful thing is to see one’s growth in the relationships with God.

My best experience of serving in the church was playing a musical instrument (usually guitar) and singing to lead in praise or worship during the service. It was best when there was at least one other person playing.

The most difficult thing I experienced in serving the church I think for me was just my own weakness: I tend toward impatience. I’m good at starting things but not so good at following through. Also, once I start praying for someone because I see signs of them being interested in Christ, I have a hard time leaving it alone. I want that person to be saved. I want everyone to be saved. That’s when I have to remember who’s in charge. God. Not me!
