Encourage people to not give up no matter what the report is they receive

Testimony from Stan Brazell:
I want to introduce myself by bragging on how good God is. This is my story from two years ago on Gods healing grace and his miracle working hands.

I’m going to kick this off with my testimony. That way you will understand why I am so fired up to kick satan in the head.

January 11, 2018, I went into the hospital for what was supposed to be a routine back reconstruction. As normal, I was late by several hours going back to even get prepped. Keeping in my mind, I have had 3 other back/spinal surgeries and two neck fusions. I have 6” rods in my neck and plates in my back. They where supposed to remove the old hardware and put in new advanced hardware. That didn’t happen. I told the doctors before surgery that I had two previous neck surgeries so my neck does not operate properly.

I finally go back for surgery. After surgery, about 4 hours, they called my wife saying they could not wake me up. I was stable, but would not respond.

They finally brought me to a room, and things started going downhill fast. To try to make a very long story a little shorter, they hyperextended my neck, causing blood flow to be cut off. After about 12 hours of violent sickness, I had a hemorrhagic stroke, a brain bleed. I spent several days in ICU with my family being told that I would never walk, talk or use my left side at all. But after two days of my family and some friends laying hands and praying, I recovered from that.

As Paul Harvey use to say, “Now, the rest of the story.”

Because I laid up in ICU with no pumps on my legs, I developed blood clots; a DVT in my leg and 13 PE’s. This should have killed me.

From there, I developed what is call a total IVC Occlusion. If you don’t know what that means, I had a blood clot from just below my kidneys down both extremities, 3” in diameter. I had no blood flow back to my heart. I heart rate was in the 160’s for a long time with my blood pressure in the 180/130’s. I spent a total of 60 days in 6 different hospitals and a total of 6 or 7 surgeries to clear the clots.

Originally the doctors gave me two weeks to live. But during all this, I had a vision. I saw a cloud opening in the room and a figure came out of the cloud. I recognized the figure as Jesus. He called my name and told me that I surely would not die, that He has greater things for me. I told Him that I would do whatever He wanted me to do.

I tell my story for several reason.

  1. To encourage people to not give up no matter what the report is they receive.
  2. To let people know that my Heavenly Father is still in the miracle working business.

He brought me from certain death and for that, I am devoted to telling others of His grace and love.

During my stays in the hospitals, God gave me the opportunity to share Christ with a lot of people and saw several make a life changing decision to give their life to Him.

So no matter where you are at in your journey, God is still on the thrown and is still in control. And miracles still happen.

We are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens me.

God still heals today. :heartpulse:

Pretty sure you meant “God is still on the Throne” not

God is not “thrown” by anything. That would mean that He was unable to deal with something that “threw” Him. Strange word I know, but there it is.

It’s an astounding miracle on top of miracle that you are still alive! It almost sounds as if the doctors were trying to kill you. I’m sure that’s not what they were doing, but it’s so awful it is frightening.

Yet in the midst of such frightening circumstances, yes, God is still doing miracles. He just doesn’t have specific people that He chooses to do miracles through and no one else.

Awesome God is good

God is greater than our illness! Cast all your worries to the Lord and He will indeed help you! So inspiring to read testimonies of how great the Lord God is! :yellow_heart:
