Father's Day: 4 parenting tips from the best Father of them all - God

Look to God for guidance
Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord - Ephesians 6:12

Lead by example
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up - Deuteronomy 6:6-7

Don’t downplay discipline
Discipline your children, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to their death - Proverbs 19:18

Don’t shy away from showing your love
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8

Indeed the best father of them all is our Father God. Whenever I pray as a kid I always say Papa God. It feels different talking to Him. I do not have a close bond with my father and opening up about feelings is not something we do. So, whenever something is bothering me, I ask for the guidance and help of my Papa God.
