Yes God has faith in us. Our job is to go forward with complete confidence, trusting fully that God is with us all the way in whatever circumstance, whatever trial, whatever condition we find ourselves. We must have faith that God is for us completely, because He is. It is God’s will that we be there. It is God’s will that we are part of His Family. He has a complete and tremendous desire for us, and He is working out His purpose in us and for us, that we might be a glory to Him and become sons and daughters sharing in everything He has.
Yes! I agree. @SaltandLight Obviously, if God were to have faith in us, it wouldn’t be the second kind of faith; it would have to be the first. It is tempting to say that when God trusts us, that trust is the same faith. I think, however, it’s important to understand the nature of God’s trust:
1 Thessalonians 2:4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
Here, Paul is showing us that God has entrusted us with a calling to teach the Gospel.
When God let us go through hardships and pains, He wants us to walk in faith and not by sight. When He help us solve our problems, it means we have faith in His abilities. But when God says NO, or He doesn’t give the response we wanted, it means He has faith in us. He believes that we are strong and He knows that we can overcome every struggles on our own. God will not allow challenges to come our way if He didn’t know us very well and there’s nothing we can’t survive. Have faith in God. Because He has faith in us. Never lose our faith the way God always choose to believe in us.
Thank you for reminding us that God has faith in all of us, @SaltandLight. We need this especially during this tough time. Many people are battling financially, physically, and emotionally. Let us pray for them to become stronger because each and every one of us are capable of fighting our battles and becoming successful. God has faith in us and He will never abandon us during difficult times. God knows we can go through anything and we should believe Him, but most importantly, we should believe in ourselves. Let us seek courage and confidence from the Lord. God works in mysterious ways. Believe in Him and in yourself.

What an interest take… Normally you don’t think too much about faith in this way, but it has plenty of sense! God has faith on us, he believe in us, because he loves us… He loves us so much that made himself a man in Jesus Christ to save us, and even after we killed him, he still was speaking for us with the “forgive them Father, because they don’t know what they are doing”… God is love and love is faith, its honestly a beautiful take, one that confirms once more how God is the alpha and the omega.

God has faith in us that we will have faith in Him. The faith which God has in us should result in a much greater faith in God. God let’s us go through problems and difficulties in life because He expects us to call on Him and be dependent on Him every time. God is not expecting us to look through others as solution to our circumstances, He gives His trust that we will give Him our 100% faith no more no less. He is expecting from us that when we accepted Him as our Lord and savior we already gave our life fully to Him and along with it is our faith.
I love how we have faith in God and He has faith in us. Such a very strong relationship where both parties just trust and have faith in each other. 
God gave us free will, so we can do whatever we want, but He still has faith in us.
