God never abandons us. Even if we abandon God, He never abandons us. Like the father of the prodigal son, thought he should have disowned him for wanting to leave him, who only came back when he was starving and tasting the fruits of his sin, the father saw the son while he was still far off, and ran to him. If even human parents can’t forget their children, how much more our heavenly Father who IS love, will never forget us.
For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. - Romans 11:29
Thank you for this reflection. This is a good reminder how faithful God is to His love for us. No matter how far we run away from Him, he never let us go beyond where he cannot reach us. The parable of the prodigal son is one of my favorite stories in the bible. I felt the deep love that God has for each one of us despite our sinful nature that is unchanging.
Truly, God’s love for us is endless. Just like how our parents love us, nothing can separate us from love of God. No matter how many times we walk away, God will always search for us. Even if we commit mistakes a million times, God will still forgive and welcome us with open arms. He will never turn His back on us. Sometimes, no matter how much we wanted to run away and disobey Him, God will still protect and save us from evil. Because He is faithful to His promises and to His children.

No matter where we go and no matter what we do, God will always be there for us. He is our Lord and Almighty. Even if we go to a different path than Him, He will still love us. Always remember that God will be there for you when you come back to Him. God will never let you go.
