Can you imagine if our God is not merciful? I wouldn’t dare think of how life might have been if that were true. Our God is a just God, He abhors people who are doing evil deeds. We can read a lot of instances where God gets angry to His people and brings justice to them. Just like how He punished the Isrealites and wiping out an entire generation; not letting them see what the promise land would look like. Yet He still extends His mercy upon them by not depriving the next generation to receive His promise. This is a clear illustration of how merciful God is, He could have wiped out all the Isrealites but because of His unending mercy, He still continued His covenant with them and fulfilled His promise of giving them the land flowing with milk and honey.
Amen to this. God is a merciful God. God is a forgiving God. We should all thank Him everyday for giving us the chance to live another day of our lives. God is so loving and compassionate that even the people who do not love him, he still cares for them. Let us all do the same to other people and show compassion for them. God created us to care for out brothers and sisters as he cared for us.
