Yes, there are days I feel like that. But I let that thought fade away in my mind, because every one of us is different. I would rather focus on my self growth than think of all the things others have that I do not.

Yes, most of the time. That feeling that you think you are doing the right one but failed in the long run. Seems like you exerted everything, but your best was’t good enough.

The only thing that lifts me up as always is my mom’s sayings " there are no fingers alike". So therefore, I have to accept that there is really much better than me. And that he/she might have different capabilities with me, and for sure there is also some capabilities that I have, that he/she doesn’t have. Vice versa!

There isn’t a person amongst us who doesn’t have insecurities — some are just better at dealing with them, or perhaps hiding them.

The question is: how do we overcome these insecurities?

How do we become OK with ourselves? How do we learn to find contentment and peace?

The answer isn’t simple, but it requires one thing to start with: a willingness to face what we usually don’t want to face.

That means a bit of courage. Just in small doses, to start with, but it means a willingness to set aside all the distractions for a little bit, and just focus on what you’re struggling with.

Do you have that courage?

Thank you. Let us all stay strong in our faith and never giving up. We are Gods chosen ones and whatever we ask for He will always provide. He makes ways where seems to be no ways.

Yes Sometimes, Great Example in a workplace.
When my subordinate or colleagues is making good at it, i felt like jealous i know that it is bad or wrong. but i’m not focusing sinking in that he or she is better than me. I always said to myself i am better in my own way and i can do that soon i need to practice more.
And as one of the leader on our church im practing not to build a member but to build a leader.

Hi @Valerie! I would like to bring this post up again.
Yes, I most certainly do. Often times I feel miserable and unmotivated when I see someone doing better than me. I would always remind myself that we shouldn’t compare ourselves with other people but sometimes I couldn’t help it. Now, I’m trying my best in boosting my self confidence and doing my best in everything. I remind myself that I’m not competing with other people but I’m competing with myself. I want to become the best version of myself and I shouldn’t be focusing too much on others. Let’s all remember that we have our own time and own battles in life. Let us not be discouraged and always pray to the Lord.

@Valerie yes sometimes… But if i feel this kind of feeling i asses myself, what i did something wrong what will i can do to improve myself. I challenge myself to be better everyday and then im praying also for myself to make me a better each day, and give me a heart that always believe. Believing in our God and believing in myself.

Hello, dear @Valerie
Yes… I feel it constantly, especially during this quarantine. Like everybody else manages his free time and gets more things done in a more efficient way. Still, once my aunt told me, slowly but surely. I also speak these things with God… Maybe there are things I should do in a more faster way, but I have the resolve to do it at least haha. With God help I will achieve my goals.
Kind regards, Luis Guerrero.

God designed insecurity to be examined in order that we might escape danger. That’s why it’s a mercy. This kind of insecurity is a God-gauge in our soul. It’s reporting to us that something is wrong with what we hear God or some other god telling us about who we are. Either a true belief is being challenged and perhaps refined, or a false belief is finally being exposed.
