Depending upon what temptation you are pertaining to @kianna. In order to avoid it, ask God’s guidance in everything you do and pray earnestly.

Overcoming temptation is always a work in progress. It requires a renewing of our mind.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, Romans 12:2

However, in most cases, the best option to overcome temptation is to flee from it or avoid it.

12So the one who thinks he is standing firm should be careful not to fall. 13No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it.
1 Corinthians 10:13

Even a great man like David have fallen into temptation. That is why we should always be vigilant for possible temptations, then flee from it.

Hi @kianna, one of the things to handle rejections well is to not expect anything in return. Rejections are not entirely our fault. There is a lesson behind it and a blessing in disguise. It is a redirection to something bigger. We just have to increase our faith and trust that He has a plan for us that is full of hope.
