How do you think the balance between law and Gospel? everyday many things happened, what do you think, is it need more law or gospel?
I think to balance the law and gospel is not easy. But I think there are some principles, first we should try our best to live according to the law, for the law is God’s love to us, it’s to protect us, it’s the way to life. But the law is not enough, for we have our weakness, so we need gospel, in other words, that’s God’s grace. In our real life, sometimes we pay too much attention to the law, sometimes pay too much attention to Gospel, I think we should often check ourselves according to God’s words.
I think most of time when I think about this question, the problem for me is I don’t do something well or I saw somebody don’t do something well. This question is hard to response easily. I think no matter law or gospel, the foundation is love.
