Recently, Open Doors USA published “2018 World Watch List”, and reported that in the world 215 million Christians are persecuted because of belief.
How do you think of it? Have you ever been persecuted for Jesus Christ?
Jesus had told us there must be persecution as His disciples. If we are persecuted, we should have faith in God’s promise, Satan can take our life on the earth, but he couldn’t take our life in God. We should pray to God so that we can stand firm in all kinds of hardship.
Matthew 5:10-12
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
We must give voice to those persecuted, educating the world about rampant and unchecked oppression.
