How to understand Ecclesiastes 1:9? History is meaningless?

Ecclesiastes 1:9 What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.

Without knowing God, there is nothing new in the history. The Bible clearly tells us the history will come to the end, and God’s kingdom will come, the righteous will enter the eternity.

We live in the history, the history is the history of God’s salvation. Our life on earth is to prepare for the life in Heaven. One day, we will live with God forever.

The conclusion of Ecclesiastes is “Remember your Creator
in the days of your youth,
before the days of trouble come…
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind.
For God will bring every deed into judgment,
including every hidden thing,
whether it is good or evil.”

There will be judgement after the death on earth, the evil lives will be thrown to the hell, and the righteous will live. God loves us so He gave us the time to know Jesus and receive His amazing salvation. God want to save every lost soul.
