I cannot meditate on pray well. How can I focus on pray better?

I cannot meditate on pray well. How can I focus on pray better?

Try to use God’s words to pray.

how about to pray on Bible. You can pray by Bible verse, then you can receive more and more grace.

My way is to say it out loudly. I focus my own mind by saying the words of prayer. Because if I pray quietly, my mind is easily distracted.

I had the same question a few years ago. I found that the book of Psalms in the Old Testament, is packed full of prayers! Start with Psalm 1

Psalm 1 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
BOOK 1
The Righteous and the Wicked Contrasted.
1 How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.

4 The wicked are not so,
But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the wicked will perish.

Read it, then ask God to help you be blessed, to delight in the law of the Lord.
Also, you can ask God to help a friend who is in trouble.
Also, you can ask God to help you be more the way He wants you to be.

God does not take delight in long worded prayers or prayers said in public:

Matthew 6:7 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
7 “And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words.

But Christ told us HOW to pray (because His disciples had the same question you do: how?)

Matthew 6:7-15 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
7 “And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. 8 So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

9 “Pray, then, in this way:

‘Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 ‘Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 ‘Give us this day our daily bread.
12 ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’]

14 For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.
