I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more. Isaiah 65:19

Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim that anything comes from us, but our competence comes from God.

Through Him and on behalf of His name, we received grace and apostleship to call all those among the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith.

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name,

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Therefore I exult in Christ Jesus in my service to God.

I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obedience by word and deed, by the power of signs and wonders, and by the power of the Spirit of God.

So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ; the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.

But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you and they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen and when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles and when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them, but God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work and whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
