Is salvation the same eternal life?
Salvation is being saved from eternal damnation. In other words, it is eternal life in the presence of God. An eternal relationship with the Lord. And no, it didnt come in 70 AD. It started the day Jesus rose from the dead and opened the gates of heaven for all who believe.
No! salvation is God’s power to set us free from our sins and eternal life is what we receive for being faithful unto God.
If Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever then why did the children of Israel die in the wilderness and why were they to be our examples? Could faith produce good works through Jesus Christ.
Everyone will have eternal life. Salvation is through Jesus…eternal life with God. Those who reject (don’t put their faith in His saving work on the cross) will be eternally separated from God in hell.
Salvation from destruction was about 70AD. Fleeing from the wrath to come. Like today there were signs. Eternal life is given as an inheritance. How does an inheritance works. You don’t work for it, your Father did. And he gave it to you when he died. Reality. You’ve always had it. We just didn’t realize it.
It’s simple… Let the Word speak.1 John 5:11-12[11] "And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. [12] He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life."JESUS IS ETERNAL LIFE. IF HE IS IN YOU YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE!!!
