It was I who accused Him.
It was I who put Him through a sham trial.
It was I who lied about Him.
It was I who betrayed Him with a kiss.
It was I who spit on Him.
It was I who shackled Him.
It was I who whipped Him.
It was I who beat Him beyond recognition.
It was I who yelled “crucify” Him.
It was I who gambled for His clothes.
It was I who forced a crown of thorns on His head in order to humiliate Him further.
It was I who nailed His hands and feet to The Cross.
And It was I He forgave.
It was I whom He washed in His Blood making me white as snow.
It is Him who I now follow.
It is Him who I now obey.
It is Him who delivered me and saved my soul though I deserved just the opposite.
It is Him who one day will come to get me.
It is Him who I will spend eternity with.
