It’s too hard to understand that we need the Word of God, so let’s just leave that part out

In the forth chapter of Luke, Yeshua goes into the desert for forty days. Coming out, He’s very hungry! Satan tempts the Him to turn rocks into bread. Yeshua responds, saying in verse 4, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of Yah”. In The Message, Yeshua simply says, “it takes more than bread to really live.” Those who defend the author of that Mess insist that “he’s just trying to make it easier to understand”. Really? It’s too hard to understand that we need the Word of God, so let’s just leave that part out.
