Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. I have also sent them into the world. As You sent Me into the world, for them I sanctify Myself, so that they too may be sanctified by the truth. I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message, If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he should ask God, who will give life to those who commit this kind of sin. There is a sin that leads to death; I am not saying he should ask regarding that sin. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Casting the lot ends quarrels and separates strong opponents. Then Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let us go out to the field.” And while they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him. And the LORD said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” “I do not know!” he answered. “Am I my brother’s keeper?” “What have you done?” replied the LORD. “The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the one to come. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him and if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him. All unrighteousness is sin, yet there is sin that does not lead to death. A man’s gift opens doors for him, and brings him before great men. He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.” An honest answer given is like a kiss on the lips. Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Complete your outdoor work and prepare your field; after that, you may build your house. “Lord,” said Thomas, “we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?” Do not testify against your neighbor without cause, and do not deceive with your lips. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”
