Dear believer,
Jesus Christ went to the cross to remove all your doubts on whether or not you could go to heaven.
He dined with sinners so you would feel welcome.
He rebuked religious people so you could see that he was here to save you in your sins.
He flipped the world order on it’s head and became the lowliest, so you could feel at home with him.
He spoke in the face of death and torture to say if you believe in me, you will have eternal life.
He suffered, bled, and died, so you wouldn’t have to.
In all the horror of what was coming to him, he gave comfort to you.
Jesus Christ knew exactly what he would endure for you dear believer.
He did not die on the cross, suffer unimaginably, and get crushed by God, for you to ever doubt again what he gives freely.
Be secure, rest, and have confidence in his finished work on the cross.
Christ died, was raised by God, and lives in heaven so that YOU can be certain of your salvation.
