Jude 1:12 These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead

Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children. The more they multiplied, the more they sinned against Me; they exchanged their Glory for a thing of disgrace. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you as My priests. You will stumble by day, and the prophet will stumble with you by night; so I will destroy your mother. While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat, his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.” The old prophet answered, “I too am a prophet, as you are. And an angel said to me by the word of the LORD: ‘Bring him back with you to your house so that he may eat bread and drink water.’” (But he was lying to him.) And by these, my son, be further warned: There is no end to the making of many books, and much study wearies the body. When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is this: The words of the wise are like goads, and the anthologies of the masters are like firmly embedded nails driven by a single Shepherd Fear God and keep His commandments, for it is by grace you have been saved and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God through faith because this is the whole duty of man.
