My son is asking about Heavy Metal Christian Music, what are your thoughts on it?

Heavy metal is just a style of music. Any genre can be Christian if the lyrics are Christian.

Ok folks, one more time, there is NO SUCH THING AS satanic MUSIC, or christian MUSIC, there is satanic LYRICS, or christian LYRICS. metal, slow, grunge, reggae, whatever means nothing, it’s the LYRICS. it’s real simple.
Some Christian heavy metal bands are the real deal. One band I used to enjoy is For Today. Their lead vocalist is a preacher now. The lyrics to their songs glorify God are are scripture based.
