Pray for the world

Hello, dear friends,
Today I saw this image on twitter:
https://twitter.com/MarcusAe1/status/1243732520379842565?s=19
Those are 4 photos of pope Francis, who did a prayer for the whole world alone by himself in the St. Peter Square, this is especially rare and sad to see, but with the deaths caused by the COVID 19 augmenting, the situation is sad.
So let’s unite our will and faith in a prayer, a prayer for the world, for our countries, for the people, for our friends, for our family, for ourselves.
Please God, help us and make us strong, we know with you we will ride from this disease and grow stronger together in faith, in health and in love. With you everything is possible. Amen.
Kind regards, Luis Guerrero

Loving God, Your desire is for our wholeness and well being.
We hold in tenderness and prayer the collective suffering of our world at this time.
We grieve precious lives lost and vulnerable lives threatened.
We ache for ourselves and our neighbors, standing before an uncertain future.
We pray: may love, not fear, go viral.
Inspire our leaders to discern and choose wisely, aligned with the common good.

Help us to practice social distancing and reveal to us new and creative ways to come together in spirit and in solidarity.

Call us to profound trust in your faithful presence,

You, the God who does not abandon.

What we are going through right now scares a lot of people right now, Dear God. Guide them, Lord God, instill in their minds that you are far greater and more powerful than this. We pray Lord God that this will soon pass. We give to you, Lord God, our trust. Forgive us for our sins, Lord. Amen.

I pray for the world to listen to what is right, because God is listening to our Prayers. And God answers our prayers but not in a way we want Him to answer those prayers. He answers according to His will for us and that answer will be the best for us.

Sometimes, God answers with a YES. Praise God for you have prayed what the Lord desires for you to have.

But sometimes God answers with a NO not because He wants to hurt us nor disappoint us, but only because He knows we deserve better than what we are praying for.

And sometimes, God answers not with a YES, nor with a NO but with a wait. When God tells you to wait, it doesn’t mean that you won’t be getting what you’ve been praying for but you just have to endure the waiting. Maybe because He is still preparing you for it or its time has not yet come. Only God knows.

God listens to our prayers and He didn’t overlook any of them. He will answer us and we have to listen. We have to accept how God will answer those prayers and trust Him that whatever that answer is, it will be the best for us.

God our Father,
We come to you in need
To ask your protection against the Covid-19 virus,
That has claimed lives and has affected many.
We pray for your grace.

For the people tasked with studying the nature and cause
Of this virus and its disease
And of stemming the tide of its transmission
Guide the hands and minds of medical experts
That they may minister to the sick
With competence and compassion,
And of those governments and private agencies
That must find cure and solution to this pandemic

We pray for those afflicted
May they be stored to health soon

Grant us the grace
To work for for the good of all
And to help those in need.

Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
Who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit
God, forever and ever. Amen.

God of Mercy and Grace,
You have called us from the east and from the west, from the south and from the north to be your body in this world. Keep us connected through you even in our physical distance.
We come to you trusting that you are our refuge and our strength, our very present help in trouble.

People are losing employment…
Businesses are losing profit…
The world is losing direction…

This pandemic has taken over everything but there is one thing it could never take away from Christians – HOPE! As long as we have breath, as long as the sun rises in the morning, as long as the Bible is freely read and taught, there is hope in the world. There is light at the end of the tunnel; there is an end to this global crisis.

So help us, God.

Hello, dear @eestioko
Your are so right!!
At these times, during the hardest ones, we need to keep hope and faith! We can be bested, wronged, even knocked out by life and circumstances… But with hope and faith in God we will rise up again! God is inmense and omnipotent, he will lead us to victory against all of this!
Thank you for reminding me all of this. Regards to your niece and your whole family! Take care!
Kind regards, Luis Guerrero.

Let us all pray together for the healing of the world.
May each and every person be guided by the Lord’s spirit and give them strength to overcome any obstacles they may take during this tough situation. Let us ask the Lord for His protection from any disease that may affect us.
May we also pray for the people serving in the front line helping the people and their country. May the people in power use their power for the good of everyone and to help those less fortunate. The Lord will always protect and guide us. Amen.
