Psalm 91:1

Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Most people are familiar with this verse. However, not all know the deep meaning behind it. When life is draining and there seems to be no time or place to rest, and it seems like the world is tumbling down, these words are reassuring, comforting and encouraging. We will find perfect dwelling in God’s shelter.

Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

God has a shelter for His people and it’s under His shadow. When we are in sweet communion with God we enter into this special place where nothing can penetrate. This place has a door in which we enter and the door is a door of trust. We commune with God as we trust in His protection and as we have fellowship with Him.

It took me awhile to digest this bible verse, anyways I understood it well from here: Psalm 91:1 Commentary - The Treasury of David just in case someone else also had a hard time assessing it.
