LIVE LIKE A DEAD MAN
Romans 6:1-11
Once you accept Jesus Christ into your life through faith, a basic reality goes to work: your old nature dies and you die spiritually to sin. Since you are spiritually dead to sin, it should no longer have dominion over you. However, even though it is a spiritual reality that you are dead to sin, moment by moment you must activate that reality through faith. In other words, moment by moment you must choose with your will to " reckon [yourself] dead to sin" (v. 11). This means by faith you have to choose to be dead to those things in your life that are displeasing to God.
