The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of discipleship, to sustain the weary with a word see, we are slaves today, slaves in the land you gave our ancestors so they could eat its fruit and the other good things it produces. He chose capable men from all Israel and made them leaders of the people, officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. A man takes joy in a fitting reply and plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed and how good is a timely word! A word fitly spoken Is like apples of gold in settings of silver by fruitful speech a man is filled with good things, and the work of his hands returns to him. The path of life leads upward for the wise, that he may avoid going down to Sheol.
