I read through the book of Ephesians and I see one thing that people overlook. Is that it is written for Saints. So the question is what is a saint. The definition is also written in Ephesians it is one who has overcome. But overcome what exactly? The answer is they have overcome desires of the flesh. They learned how to walk in the spirit so they do not gratify the desires of the flesh so Paul celebrates them for doing that. And he goes on to further instruction. So that instruction only pertains to those who are Saints who have overcome their flesh. A carnal minded person is not going to be able to comprehend the book of Ephesians then that’s why there’s so much gross misinterpretations about what it means they actually misinterpreted to gratify their flesh to believe there’s something they’re not that they are special to feed their pride. So if one is not a saint there is other scripture they need to look at before they are going to really comprehend this book. Like they should read 1st and 2nd Peter. Specifically 2nd Peter chapter 1 where it talks about adding to your faith virtue knowledge temperance. Because was that process it says after if you do these things in the impound you will never fall. But if you don’t you are short-sighted and will forget what you once were purged from. Which is what happened when we receive salvation we were purged from all our sins because God took them away gave us a heart. But we have to maintain that heart keep it clean that’s why we need to add to our faith. The goal being to become Saints. Now some will say all that’s impossible we can never be without sin. Then you’ve given up before you’ve even started giving up before you even try. Or saying that sent her is only for those who died. So is Paul talking to dead people no he’s talking to the living. There is nothing special about any of those churches in that day they’re no different than any of us. We just have to want it and the Lord will show us how to do it. But if we accept a lie that leads to defeat then that’s all you’ll be is defeated thinking that it’s normal to go back into sin it’s normal to walk in the flesh. But it’s not normal so we should strive for What the Lord Has I said what is normal and that is to go and sin no more. If you accepted that that is the goal you can understand scripture must clearer. But if you want to believe a lie there’s much of scripture you will never understand
