The world tells you to listen to your heart, but God tells you not to listen to your heart. Which one has the true wisdom, God who created you or the world. Truly the world does not, but God who created you has the wisdom that we lack.
Jer 17:9 tells us that our hearts are desperately wicked. What good can come from following a wicked heart?
Our hearts are deceitful. We let the holy spirit guide is in our hearts and mind. We talk to the lord and read his word. The word of God tells us and guides and directs us. That’s how the lord talks to us.
