There are different way to interprete the same paragraph in the bible, which way shall we choose to believe?

Different people interprete the same paragraph in the bible differently, which way shall we choose to believe?
Have you any got confused for this?

Yes, I also have this problem. For me, if it keeps in harmony with the basic doctrine and is helpful for our spiritual life, normally I will receive it.

What I do to help me is to make sure I understand the context of a passage, what is it talking about? Even when you look at a single verse you need to read a few verses before and after to make sure you understand the context. People love to take this passage of scripture:

““Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:1-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And they say it is telling us we aren’t suppose to judge, it isn’t. What it is telling us is that before we tell people what sins they are committing in their life we need to make sure we aren’t doing that same thing. We must “practice what we preach.”
