Dear friends, Listen, O heavens, and give ear, O earth, for the LORD has spoken: My sheep listen to my voice: “Let the little children come to me, encouraging one another and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” I know them, and they follow me. Jesus said, why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ as some are in the habit of doing, and do not do what I say? Do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, not giving up meeting together as though something strange were happening to you. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light and all the more as you see the day approaching. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I have raised children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against Me. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. Nevertheless, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal its people and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” Against such things there is no law. ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, Say to them: Brothers, truly I tell you, Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old stop thinking like children in regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature as God had commanded him. Anyone who does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked should turn from their ways and live.
