I had something happen as I was at work feeding
** the kids their lunch.**
First, a little backstory before
I share more on what happened:
There are 2 squirrels I watch playing and living their lives
among the trees. I have watched cats stalk the squirrels but
all this time they have never been able to catch them.
This day I looked out the window, I saw a cat carrying one of
those squirrels across the yard. It was like when you watch
National Geographic and you can’t stop a wild animal catching
its prey. I was saddened to see the cat with the squirrel.
But I saw a lesson we can learn from this squirrel’s life.
We also have a stalker in our lives. We can get so busy in life
and activities that we don’t realize or we forget we have an enemy
watching and waiting to devour. Even the Bible warns, "Be alert
and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a
roaring lion looking for someone to devour." 1 Peter 5:8
That’s why it’s important to learn Spiritual Warfare. Our enemy has
been scheming for a long time so we have to be fit for the fight.
Jesus knows the schemes of the enemy, so we have to stay in the Word
of God, in prayer, and also praise, and learn and be led by the
Holy Spirit. Then we can walk in the victory Jesus has already won
for us by the cross. In these last days, we need to be sure we
partner with the Lord to give us discernment, so we don’t have blind
spots or become deceived by the enemy.
The Good News is we have a Heavenly Father that is Mightier than our
enemies. When we come to Him, He brings us the help we need.
Who do you want to write your story, Jesus or the devil? Don’t let the
enemy take your purpose & destiny.
Every day we need to come to Jesus to see what we need to be overcomers.
His love will see you through. —Monica
"For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is
the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."
1 John 5:4
Don’t give up! Remember your prayers can move things
in the spiritual realm that the devil can’t touch
or stop. As a Child of God, that’s your inheritance.
