Lot took his daughters out of Sodom, but he could not take the Sodom out of them.
Lot used correct judgment in escaping Sodom, but did not have enough sense to not indulge in so much wine that he did not know he was sleeping with his daughters.
Because we flee one danger doesn’t mean that we are exempt from running right into a different kind of danger. We must stay vigilant and diligent in our fight against sin and evil.
