Unless you live in a country where there is no absolute freedom of religion such as China and Muslim countries, you don’t experience persecutions that are similar to what early Christians suffer. However, all Christians experience a form of modern-day persecution. Can you share some of them?
I experienced being mocked because of my beliefs and because I would not do what those people did (cheating on exams, lying to parents, vices etc.). But yes, what I had experienced was nothing compared to what the early fathers and saints have experienced. Actually, when people see that we are firm with our beliefs, we earn a little form of respect. Very few are the occasions that some people are highly critical/argumentative about my beliefs. In fact, there are more arguments between Christians than with unbelievers.
But this community is a healthy community. I have not seen disrespectful posts nor condescending replies.
