I just attended a wedding ceremony and it was great. However, some people no longer believe in having a wedding ceremony, whether it be civil or church wedding.
In our society today, civil marriage or church wedding is already a second option and not a priority. Lovers/couples prefer to be live-in partners than be bind as one and after all will be left with kids and end up single moms. This scenario is present in our society today. They remain “live-in partners” so that when worst comes to worst, they can easily left their partner easily with no hassle.
For me, I’ve been married twice in civil and church wedding with the same guy coz my family isn’t in favor of “living together” only. They wanted us to be bind by God’s love and grace. That is why we decided to marry and now we have a daughter. So, common law marriage is very essential not only for our own benefit, but for our little one; that we may be able to live a wonderful life as a family that God designed for us.
