What does it mean to have peace with God?

The phrase “have peace with God” or “be at peace with God” has been coming up around me a lot recently. I would like to know what this phrase means to others.

to me it means when i abide inside God, the real peace comes from me.

I think it is a good relationship with God. I think that it is close to God and obeying His Word.

As I’ve been reading more and more on this, I’ve come to think of it as having a good relationship with him and accepting his hand in my life. Letting go of my own plans and following his plans.
