To live right. The Bible shows us the values that we should live by. To be righteous is to live by those
Living right, doing the right thing because the word righteous comes from the word right.
Don’t be a fornicator, don’t be an adulterer, don’t be a drunkard, don’t be an idolator, don’t be a liar, don’t hate or murder people, don’t be covetous. And others… Basically, love your neighbor as yourself.

God says our righteousness is as filthy rags. We have to surpass the righteousness of the unbeliever. But can we do this. Of course not but we strive, that’s what God sees. And He loves us unconditionally. So let’s aim high.
