What is truth?

John 18:38
“What is truth?” Pilate asked. …

Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life.

“Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.””

This is the sentence after which Pilate asks his question. When Pilate heard this, he asked his famous sentence and leaves the room to talk with the crowd in front of his house. Instead of accepting the truth that the person brought to him is without any sin, without any reasons to sentence him to death, he tries to avoid the decision to free Jesus based on his own judgment. So Pilate did not listen to truth, but listen to the crowd and its corrupt leaders instead. This way he is eternally remembered as the person under whose watch the Christ suffered.

The Word of God is truth.

John 12: 24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.
