What is the Gospel?The word gospel in Greek means Evangélio which means “good news”.In Acts 8, we read about Philip the Evangelist who reached out the Ethiopian eunuch with the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ and since day it spread through out Africa.So I’m presenting the Gospel or good news of Jesus Christ which I’ve been doing for over 20 years either online or Frontlines Street Witnessing.Originally, God didn’t create Hell for Mankind but Satan and angels for their rebellion against Him.In Matthew 25:41 we read:Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.He wanted to live with Mankind on earth so He created Adam and Eve. He commanded them to not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed and Adam brought sin into this world this severed God’s relationship with Mankind(see Genesis 3)In Romans 5:12 we read:Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:So that means from your parents, grandparents and great, great, great grandparents all the way to Adam all are sinners before God.Throughout Jesus’ lifetime, He kept the Ten Commandments perfectly and was sinless while on earth because He was God in the flesh.God’s Standard is the Ten Commandments and He requires perfection.Now it’s impossible for any of us to keep the Ten Commandments perfectly because we are imperfect beings.The Bad News:All of us have broken the Ten Commandments and guilty before God and are sinners.In Romans 3 we read19Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.None of us can be righteous before God and He sees our righteous acts as filthy rags.In Romans 3:10 we read:As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:In Isaiah 64:6 we read:But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.We have told lies, stolen what didn’t belong to us, looked upon people with lust, used God’s name in vain as a cuss word and hated people.The Bible teaches sinners will have their part in the lake burning with fire and brimstone.In Revelation 21:8 we read:But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.The penalty is Hell!So we need a Savior to save us from our sins because we cannot save ourselves.BUT…The Good News:Over 2,000 years ago God sent His begotten Son Jesus Christ to suffer for us and got crucified upon the Cross for your sins. He took the just punishment we deserved upon Himself so we don’t go to Hell. He paid our fine that we owed. And He resurrected on the third day in bodily form to give us a new life.In John 3:16-18 we read:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. God loves you but you have to be born of God which you cannot do on your own only God has the power to do that.In John 1 we read:12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.Notice what it says in verse 13“Not of blood” you cannot save yourself“nor of the will of the flesh,” your family or friends cannot save you “nor of the will of the flesh” no man can save you “BUT OF GOD” Only God will save you by the washing of your sins by faith through Jesus Christ in His precious shed blood.1. Now if you’re not saved what you have to do is repent of all your sins. Repentance of sin which means doing a 180-degree turn on sin and a change of heart, mind, and direction in an individual’s life.That direction is Jesus Christ!In Acts 3:19 we read:Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.2. Believe what Jesus did for you upon the Cross for your sins and resurrection on the third day.3. Put your faith and trust upon Jesus Christ for your salvation alone.I hope and pray you to make the right decision today Now it’s your choice I already gave you the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ nobody is forcing nor God Himself because His love isn’t forceful.God bless you
