Have we ever looked into the history recorded in the Bible and the Church history? These are both history of God. And is there any period among the history of God do you feel interested most?

I’m really interested in understanding the periods in the Old Testament. I find the books of the Old Testament difficult to understand and so want to study them more and to do that I need to understand the time periods in which they were written.
