Who is to blame for all the evil in the world—God or the devil?

Who is to blame for all the evil in the world—God or the devil? I’d like to think it’s the devil, but if God is all-powerful, doesn’t that make Him responsible for everything that happens—even evil?

Satan and human beings.

Amen. Evil comes from Satan, who is absolutely opposed to God and to everything good. Sometimes Satan’s works are very open and obvious—but more often he works behind the scenes, deceiving and manipulating people and events in ways we may not realize. No wonder Jesus labeled him “a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44).

But evil also comes from within us—within our own hearts and minds. When we do wrong, we can’t blame anyone but ourselves—for we have chosen to turn our backs on God and go our own way. This is why we need Christ, for only He can forgive our sins and give us the strength to do what is right.

It is Devil. Because the Bible tells us a truth that God created the earth and heaven. He is love. He is good. He is beautiful. And In Genesis, it tells us that sin began to be put into this world by Satan.

The devil ruins this world with his eveil desire from the very beginning.

God is all-powerful, and everything is in His control. Even He allows some evil things happen, but He will turn it to good and use it for good purpose, just like what He did to Joseph.

Devil should be responsible for this sinful world.

Good question. “but if God is all-powerful, doesn’t that make Him responsible for everything that happens—even evil?” The evil should be blamed, because God is always good, and He didn’t create evil, but Satan changed to be evil. God, as our loving Father, because of love, He took on the responsibility to save us from sins. He regarded this as His responsibility due to love.

all the evil id from us. Our sin. God is all-powerful. But He is still all–love. So He gave us free will when He created us. Because of the free will. So God can’t be all-powerful in love.

Evil does not come from God. God creates beautiful, kind, and good. The beautiful angel grows into Satan. Because of pride, he leave his place and want to be equal to the highest one. It also tempts people to commit crimes People are also depraved and do not listen to God’s Word and do not believe in God.
God did not abandon the people and still save. God is the God of love who created this world and loved it. Created people and loved people. And love in the end.
