I always thought my pet dog would go to heaven with me until recently I was bit confused about this as this topic came up among our friends where most of them said pets or animals do not go to heaven. What do you guys think?

I’ve heard that there is nothing in the Bible to show that animals go to heaven.
However, as you are obviously an animal lover, and I’m assuming a Christian since you are asking about heaven, I encourage you to search the Bible for all references to animals and see if you, yourself can find any passages covering this. The Bible is readable for all who can read, and for those who cannot read, it is available on Bible Gateway link in audio to be listened to.
