Without the gray eyes, wigs and makeup. The natural me

:o:Testimony : Without the gray eyes, wigs and makeup. The natural me: When God/Jesus strips you of your insecurities… It’s one thing to wear the cosmetics and hair extensions , but the problem rise when you begain to believe you need them to look and feel beautiful (which I have previously thought about myself)… God Told me during my fasting “How can you love me when you don’t even love yourself. You have done everything to change the image I have created. You mask your true beauty.”… So after recieving that message, I tossed away the things that “masked” me and decided to wear them sparingly. Rekindling the relationship between “I” and “self”. When you find Jesus, you also find yourself.

amen. :heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

Amen. Find natural myself in God, don’t be lost in worldly sight.

Amen. God loves the real me.

1 Timothy 2:9 I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10 but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.

I believe the two verses explain what’s the real beauty of woman before God. :heartbeat::heartbeat::heartbeat:
